Installation

Install the published client:

pip install esys-lpip

The import package and console script are lpip. Check the version:

lpip version
lpip --version

You need Python 3.11+, pip, and Git on PATH when catalogs or packages use Git URLs. lpip doctor reports missing Git when a Git source is configured.

From a clone, use a venv and the dev extra. See the repository README and AGENTS.md. This site does not replace that setup.
